We believe that we deliver a good training worthy of the money you pay.
We request you to look into the following things before judging whether the fee is costly.
1. Number of participants: We stick to 25-30 all the time in our PG Diploma Course for personal attention to each and every participant. Most of the organizations do not even mention the number of participants in their brochure or website very clearly. In our Advanced Skill diploma, university has allotted 20 as the seat limit.
2. Number of hours rather the duration of the full course in months: We clearly say it is a 100 hrs course for our PG Diploma course and 175 hrs course for Advanced Skill Diploma. Many organizations advertise saying 3 months or 1 year course but the actual classes will happen only for few hours per month.
3. Number of hours spent productively: In PG Diploma, out of the 100 hrs, 87 hours the facilitators work with you in the PG Diploma course. In advanced skill diploma, Out of the 175 hrs, 144 hrs the facilitators work with you. Many organizations give assignments or some other work to calculate the hours and show many hours. We do not do so.
4. The quality of the Study Material provided whether it includes complete whereabouts of the topics discussed. We have been revising the study material often to help the participants and learn it easily.
In PG Diploma, the course fee 28K includes the access to course videos for 1 year of time which costs 3.5K if bought separately. So, the actual cost of the live course is 24.5K only. If you divide that 24,500 by 87, the cost per hour is around 250 which very is reasonable while comparing with the market rates when the number of participants is 30 or less even if you compare with the fee of self financing courses run in the colleges where the number of students per class would be 50.
In Advanced Skill Diploma, the course fee 65K includes the access to course videos for 1 year of time which costs 5K if bought separately. We will pay 25K to the university. So the actual cost of the live course is 35K and if you divide it by 144, the cost per hour is around 250 just like PG Diploma course.
We give our full efforts to help you get the skills in our PG Diploma course. We request you to value and compensate our efforts. We try hard to make our PG Diploma course as the one stop course for fundamentals in counselling skills. So that you may not have to attend any other internship/course for skill development.
We keep the number of participants to be maximum 25-30 in all our courses (except webinars) to make it interactive unlike Distance Education Contact classes where every class may have 50 to 100 students. We do not get any aid from the government like universities or have corpus funds to take care of administrative expenses like the colleges run by trusts have.
Even after these logical explanations if you feel our courses are costly, kindly specifically tell us what makes you feel it is costly, we can give an explanation for your consideration.
We run our organization ethically and transparently. Discounts may hamper the transparency. So we do not provide any discount. Discount/Scholarship is simply a marketing gimmick to attract more participants. Those who run organizations know the real cost for their services and would provide them in the cost that would take care of incurring expenses surely such as Rent, Electricity Bill, Website Maintenance, Internet Connection and Salary.
You may visit the google reviews to understand our efforts for our courses. https://goo.gl/maps/YS8GcRFGMgJ2
If we provide early bird discount, the ones who pay later have to pay extra to compensate. We feel it is unfair for those who pay later.
If we provide group discount, you will have to convince your friends/contacts to join our programme. It may cause issues in your relationship with the other people. We do not want to embarrass you by marketing for our programmes. You may pass on the information about our programmes or recommend our programmes. If they decide to join, let them join.
Some organizations provide Student Discount/Scholarship with the idea that the efforts for the students will be lesser while comparing with the professionals. In our courses, we do not treat Students and Professionals in a different way. For us, all our participants are same and we give our full efforts to help them learn counseling whether they are professionals or students. Some other organizations give student fee and professionals fee separately keeping the fee for professionals high. In this case, the professionals have to pay extra to compensate. We feel it is unfair for professionals as they will have their own family expenses. We understand students may have financial issues and that is why we have separate internship programmes for UG student population usually happening in summer vacation.
