1. All our courses are skill development courses and not theoretical ones. Though you have “studied” all the topics, did you “learn” the skills required? If your answer is “no” or “not that much”, you may enroll in the course and learn the skills.
Counselling is an art. So it is not going to be the same training though the topics are the same or similar. Here the Counselor would show how to put whatever you have studied in college or some other course to practice counselling. You may visit the google reviews to understand the experience of participants who have already studied the topics in their colleges. Google reviews can be read from https://goo.gl/maps/YS8GcRFGMgJ2
2. Counseling as a discipline has got numerous approaches, techniques, schools of thought and styles. So the way people learnt elsewhere would be different. Because of this reason, we cannot just build the skills on the different theoretical background received from some other places. If we try to do it, it will be like training people on advanced Carnatic music for those who were trained in folk music. They won’t be able to get the nuances as the basics of Carnatic Music as it is different from Folk Music. Though music is an umbrella term, folk music is different from Carnatic music in many aspects.
3. You would NOT have studied our Easy Integration Model anywhere else as it is the model developed by our facilitator which would help you find out which technique/theory/approach to use for which kind of clients. It will surely a new value addition for you. Only in our training programmes, it is practically taught. You will observe the real counseling sessions and you will do real counselling sessions under the supervision of the facilitators.
