Accreditation from International Association of Therapists is also there and we follow all the rules given by the organization in our courses. Your Certificate will have the MSME Govt. of India Registration Number, Accreditation Number of International Association of Therapists and GSTIN of Chennai Counseling Services which is the proof that your certificate is valid.
According to the laws in India and University Grants Commission (UGC) Rules, affiliation from a University is compulsory for DEGREE COURSES ONLY. For Diploma and certificate courses, getting affiliation from an University is OPTIONAL. Our institute is similar to software training institutes like NIIT and APTECH offering PG Diploma, Diploma and Certificate courses WITHOUT any affiliation from a university. Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Union Govt. of India has set up National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professionals to regulate the counseling and mental health related professions in the country however the body has not come up with a clear guidelines for the current students and practicing professionals till now. Our PG Diploma is a Skill Development Course and may not be treated as a qualifying course as it is for only 3 months. Our PG Diploma course is intended for roles in education, coaching, wellness, and support settings. It is not a substitute for licensure or regulated mental healthcare practice and you can practice as a life coach, relationship coach, wellness coach, corporate wellness consultant, mental health educator and life skills consultant.
Please note that some organizations/institutions may ask for a Degree in Psychology from a UGC recognized university to employ counselors.
