22. How effective is online training while comparing with in-person training?

Most of our training programmes are hybrid and so you can choose to come in person or attend online. We have been doing online courses from April 2020.. We take lots of efforts to bridge the gap between the in-person training and online training due to which we got lots of good feedback saying there is no big difference.  We believe it’s not whether in-person or online training, it’s your involvement and our involvement that make the course successful.

It will be interactive just like the direct class. The prime reason behind requesting the participants to keep the video switched-on all the time is that the facilitator will give personal attention to each and every participant and answer all their queries then and there. He will check with participants whether they understood the concepts at the end of every topic. Unlike many other online training programmes, you will be able to see the other participants in programmes and you can interact with them too. Online Participants are allowed to mute and unmute themselves.

You may check the latest feedback given by the participants in google review page from April 2020. Two reviews are given here for your perusal : https://goo.gl/maps/F57x5JWr2DG824WaA and  https://goo.gl/maps/x4fnumpHkZyr1oX36
Our online live courses through Google Meet is 99% like in-person training. Moreover you don’t have to travel. You can get the complete training from the comfort of your home. It just requires little bit open mind and non judgmental attitude about online trainings.

If you think you will not be able to sit for a long period of time in online training or you think all the above are marketing gimmick or the reviews are fake, you may join a webinar conducted by the facilitator and get the first hand data to decide.

If you have issues in the internet connection/mobile data, please consider the following.
1. Go to Google and type “Internet speed test”. It will show a button “Run Speed Test”. Click on it and run it and take the screen shot. Go to at least 3 locations of your house and test where the uploading and downloading speed is better and choose to sit in that place when you are attending the training. Usually open space or near window has better data connection. It’s ok even if the place is going to be little noisy as your voice will be muted by the facilitator and whenever you want to talk, you can un-mute and talk.

2. Close all other apps and keep only Google meet app open. Other apps such as Facebook or Twitter can consume more data. Background data consumption should also be disabled for all other apps. Please read this article fully.  https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/speed-up-slow-mobile-data/ It will give you very good tips.

3. Minimum of 2 GB will be required for the 6 hrs training. If you are using a plan which provides lesser data than 2 GB, please recharge only data plan that gives more data.

4. If you have 2 sim cards, check which ones internet speed is better and which ones data per day is better and make it as SIM no. 1 or go to settings and allow data connection through that specific sim card.

5. Please monitor the mobile data usage during the break time and decide whether to purchase extra GBs or switch off your video.

Even after these explanations, you still have doubt on the effectiveness of the training, please let us know what is your exact difficulty. We will try our best to address it.
